  • BLOCH Quantum Imaging Solutions, Inc. dba BeSound (“BeSound”) provides imaging equipment and administrative and management services only; all medical and clinical services are rendered by Agape Medical Group PC (the “PC”), the PC’s contracted professional services partners or other provider groups receiving services from BeSound.
  • BeSound offers breast imaging using advanced ultrasound, where clinically indicated, performed by trained sonographers and interpreted by board-certified physicians.  BeSound does not currently offer mammograms and is not intended as a replacement for mammograms. The American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/cancer/types/breast-cancer/screening-tests-and-early-detection/american-cancer-society-recommendations-for-the-early-detection-of-breast-cancer.html)* recommends that women with an average risk for breast cancer begin receiving regular mammograms at the age of 40. Women who are at a higher risk for breast cancer are recommended to receive a mammogram along with a breast MRI typically starting at age 30.
  • BeSound provides supplemental screening for adult women with dense breasts for whom screening mammography findings are normal or benign and who have not had previous clinical breast intervention. BeSound also offers diagnostic breast ultrasound for women with palpable and non-palpable breast abnormalities in adult women who are referred for a diagnostic imaging breast work‐up, following clinical presentation or either screening or diagnostic mammography or other imaging examinations.
  • BLOCH Quantum Imaging Solutions, Inc. d/b/a BeSound is a technology platform that connects individuals with independent partner medical groups that provide breast imaging services. These services may include the use of advanced ultrasound, where clinically appropriate. Imaging exams are performed by trained sonographers and interpreted by board-certified physicians engaged by the partner medical groups. BeSound does not provide medical care, make clinical decisions, or employ healthcare professionals. All medical services are delivered solely by independently owned and operated partner medical groups.

The services offered through BeSound’s platform are intended to support supplemental breast imaging and are not a replacement for mammography. The American Cancer Society recommends that women at average risk begin regular mammograms at age 40. Women at higher risk may require earlier screening and additional imaging, such as breast MRI, starting at age 30. Partner medical groups may offer supplemental screening for adult women with dense breasts who have had normal or benign mammography results and no prior clinical breast interventions. Diagnostic breast ultrasound may also be available for individuals referred for further imaging of palpable or non-palpable abnormalities following clinical evaluation or imaging. All clinical services accessible via the BeSound platform are provided exclusively by independent partner medical groups. BeSound is not a healthcare provider.
1*. When compared to the standard of care which is the mammogram
2*. The Tyrer-Cuzick model is clinically validated and widely used by healthcare providers in medical practice. However, all risk assessment models have limitations and provide statistical estimates based on population data, not certainty about individual outcomes. Your results should be discussed with a qualified healthcare provider to determine appropriate next steps.
3*. Your results use a standardized system called BI-RADS, created by the American College of Radiology, to describe what was seen on your breast imaging and to suggest possible follow up options. These descriptions are not a diagnosis and do not replace medical care. A BI-RADS category describes how the finding looks on imaging. Only a biopsy or other tissue diagnosis can confirm whether an area is cancer. A normal or benign result does not completely rule out breast cancer, and an abnormal result does not always mean cancer.
4*. Breast density is one of many breast cancer risk factors and should be interpreted in the context of your overall risk. Screening and follow up recommendations can differ based on your age, medical history, prior imaging, and local guidelines. Always review your report and recommendations with your radiologist or another qualified healthcare provider, and contact a healthcare provider promptly if you notice new breast changes.
5*. BeSound partners with licensed physicians and radiologists to coordinate and share your breast imaging results. BeSound does not provide medical care, diagnose conditions, or give medical advice. Your care and follow up plan are determined by your healthcare provider, and your BeSound results are meant to support, not replace, those conversations.
6*. Automated breast ultrasound is approved by the FDA as an adjunct to mammography. ABUS imaging, along with mammographic imaging, can improve the accuracy of screening in women with increased breast density or who have an elevated risk of developing breast cancer. ABUS imaging can be used as part of a diagnostic evaluation of symptoms or imaged findings. ABUS imaging can also be used alone in women who refuse or cannot participate in mammographic imaging.
