Intake & Risk Assesment
When you sign up, you'll complete intake and consent forms. You also have the option of taking the Tyrer-Cuzick breast cancer risk quiz, which calculates your predicted lifetime risk of breast cancer.
A clinician reviews your information and, if medically indicated, places the appropriate order for your BeSound scan.

Step 02
Screening Ultrasound
If you have no symptoms, you'll start with a screening ultrasound. Ultrasound is particularly effective for dense breast tissue and younger women.
Most of the time, scans are clear or show benign findings such as cysts or fibroadenomas.
Step 03
Expert Review & Results
All images are interpreted by a breast imaging physician with over 35 years of experience. Typically you can expect to see results in your BeSound portal in 24 hours.
Step 04
Additional Care Coordination
If your scan suggests further evaluation, our care team helps you schedule a biopsy at a nearby center. If additional imaging is required, we coordinate that too.
